EVENTS & FESTIVALS
Downtown Sackville NB started the town's famous Moonlight Madness events many years ago - and this event is still a great success to this day! Now in partnership with the Town of Sackville, Moonlight Madness is a festive and fun-filled evening of holiday shopping and special events. Our community can enjoy free hot chocolate, find those perfect gifts in our local retail stores, enjoy some delicious holiday treats from our local restaurants, and browse many local vendors that set up on the streets. You can even meet Santa Claus!

We run contests and opportunities to win prizes from local businesses during other town-led events including the Fall Fair and Winterfest.

DOWNTOWN BUSINESS PROMOTION
Of course, the most important thing Downtown Sackville NB can do is to work with our local businesses to make business better! Whether that is through marketing & promotion, programs that make our downtown beautiful & inviting, or increasing customer traffic with special events, the end goal is to support and grow our local economy.
In 2024 and 2025, we created a movie trailer showcasing Downtown of Sackville that is played before every movie at the Amherst Theatre!
